I used to walk to school with my eyes closed, just blinking open every third step. Very restful, as I remember.
Just checking the lids for light leaks.
when school starts at 9 or later test scores go up as does retention. and kids in HS don’t mostly sleep thru first hour.
Every time my dad would zonk out in his easy chair, we’d wake him and he’d swear, “I wasn’t sleeping, I was just resting my eyes.”I rest my eyes a lot these days.
