Animals react like that to my younger daughter’s voice. They know she’s safe, won’t chase them or try to bother them. She WILL talk to them, and they will stay kind of close & listen.
The resident deer family and I have an agreement – we acknowledge each other and don’t try to mix. Thomas – love venison but also my deer family and to me those are two different things. Venison keeps the herd and environment in balance.
I love venison too but since these all appear to be does, hunters better back off. I know that depending on the population there might be 1 or 2 doe days a year, but still.
