1) Let’s face it, most folks are more familiar with the film, than when Linus first spoke of the G.P. in the strip.
2) I have been watching the DVD at least once a week, since Halloween of 2008. So, the film’s been on the brain. (joys of parenthood).
But rest assured, I used some of the earlier Peanuts strips as reference for this storyline. Especially how C.S. drew Linus and the pumpkin patch, and where he positioned Linus in the panels.
