I’m fine with the monuments, as long as they leave horses. Take the guys off, maybe a blowtorch or something, and leave the horses. You just don’t have good horse statues laying around anymore. Maybe you could collect them all and make a really big, heavy, merry-go-round? Or a PF Changs?
Tearing down those statues won’t change the fact we built America on the backs of slaves. Tearing down those statues will stop celebrating those who fought to keep slaves.
