Man 1: I got evicted from your old house because the bank foreclosed on you with forged documents before selling it to me.
Man 2: Have some carrion, vulture.
I find it inconceivable how flippantly these cases seem to be treated, as in, “Too bad. Tough luck. Get over it. Move on.” Losing your home, for any reason, is incredibly traumatic. When the government uses eminent domain to force people out of their homes, the outcry is sometimes heard all the way to the Supreme Court. But when the banks use fraudulent paperwork to do the same thing, they just shrug and say, “Oh well. Easy come, easy go.”
GoComics, why do you allow these spammers to infect your site like a cancer? Can’t you do ANYTHING? How about automatically blocking any posting that contains the word “paypal,” for example?
Well, Reagan got the privatization/free trade ball rolling. But Clinton sure didn’t slow it down any, either. I’ve heard him referred to as “the best Republican President we’ve ever had,” which has some merit.
I always find it instructive and sobering to ask myself, “If I were in Obama’s shoes, what, realistically, would I do?” It’s easy enough to come up with utterly fantastic but impracticable ideas and solutions for every situation, but Obama has to operate in the realm of political realities, not wishful thinking, and on that basis, I find very little I can fault him for.
If I can’t read or understand the legal documents that are forced on me for buying a house(most lawyers can’t even slog through this stuff) I risk losing “The American Dream”.
If the Bankers don’t read or understand the legal documents They forced on the buyer all is forgiven if they make a mistake.

I agree with Clark Kent; however, the lefies don’t seem to be faulting Obama like they would Bush.

^ Probably because some of us haven’t faulted Bush for this either.
