Riding my motorcycle last week I had to go through the same embarrassment. Hit a hard bump in the road that bounced me just high enough for my hat to catch the wind and fly off. Back country road, no traffic, but still embarrassing.
My ol’ first bike; (‘38 Harley) in ’53, coming home after a 3-11 shift, no helmet, 52 mph, June Bug coming the other way at same speed.. Still have the dent in my forehead today. (feeling it to make sure I ain’t lyin’) After THAT event, all my riding was spent with at least a helmet that kept me un-dented !! jeez…

I took it that the tunnel was her “garage” and she had the broom in reverse instead of forward.
