Ziggy is liable to get hit by a golf ball and wake up somewhere else like Bob Newhart.

You’re fortunate that they shout FORE. Just imagine if you were next to cricket ground, you’d only know when the ball breaks your window pane.

I once had a condo next to a golf course. There were a lot of broken windows.

A lot of houses near golf courses shield the fairway-side windows with chicken wire awnings.

I was riding my bicycle on a road passed a golf course when a ball went by about 2 inches in front of my face!

On a course not far from me, there’s a house that apparently was there before the course was built. It’s fenced all around. Signs on the fence warn golfers that if their ball winds up inside the fence, it’s no longer their ball; don’t come looking to retrieve it.
