On Facebook and Twitter he labels this strip as being from the “Best of the Daddy’s Home Comic Archives.”
In fact, it’s dated 2013.
Hurricane Sandy happened in 2012…. and it was a huge disaster,
but I doubt FeedingAmerica.org is still collecting relief funds for it, after almost 5 years.
Sigh…. the world always provides plenty of fresh disasters.
So let’s drink to the progress the recovery has made, instead!

BTW, when it comes to disasters, I don’t really think Elliot’s vocabulary is one of them.
His behavior … well, maybe sometimes….
But the kid does OK with words, for a ten-year-old.
