Frank, I’m just curious because I know artists have muses and you use your home life experiences as inspiration. So, do you have a real pet squirrel? Just wondering cause I do so much enjoy Bob’s sarcasm.
They certainly would make good muses! I used to work with them at a refuge I volunteered at. They were next to the baby bird incubator. The squirrels were old enough to stop bottle feeding, but the incubated birds were not. When we would “dropper feed” the baby birds the adolescent squirrels would get mad & raise a big fuss. One day I was standing at the incubator feeding the birds when I felt something warm on my arm in the direction of the squirrel cage. A certain little boy squirrel became (literally) ‘pissed’ &… Took ‘aim’ at me. He stopped when I looked at him & clung to the side of his cage & just looked at me in such a manner as to let me know that I got just what I deserved to his way of thinking!
