All my life I’ve heard limburger cheese was awful tasting and worse smelling, usually in the context of a joke. Recently I tasted some, unaware, on a party canapé. It was wonderful, and I was surprised when told what it was. I buy it myself now. And the “with sardines” idea sounds great to me.
