I would really like the GOP to comment on what they would do for the half of nursing home residents who are on Medicaid when they defund it? The reason they are on Medicaid is because they have no money, they can’t pay for care. Does the nursing home just put them out at the curb and then go out of business because they lost half their patients?

When the tens of millions of people become uninsured under Trumpcare show up at the ER and get care who do you think pays for that? Hospitals just jack up the price on the people who do have insurance. Either way the cost gets passed on. It’s just much more expensive when they get their care through the ER. Oh well, the rich with their nice new GOP tax cut won’t have to worry about that.

Republicans do not believe health care is a right, but is a privilege for only those who can afford it.

They should not only repeal Obamacare, but also that legislation that forces ERs to treat people who cannot pay.

If a newborn has a life threatening condition, it’s that baby’s responsibility to choose parents with coverage.

Is having a healthy population an entitlement? I guess the picture is accurate, the GOP plan actually gives you cancer.

Neither bill were or are worth a crap. Government needs to rein in Big Pharma and painful or not, put limits on end of life costs. You want to spend hundreds of thousands for a couple more months, well you on your own bubba. Also go to single provider as in Europe and Canada, but as there, you have to pay for it. Just ask what the total tax percentage that Canadians and Europeans pay. We could do that with say a 10% tax on EVERYTHING everyone buys, NO exemptions. Once everybody has chips in the pot maybe they will take better care of themselves, and we could see a cut in that 10% tax. By cutting out the insurance companies the government would have a strong hand in negotiating prices with care providers and big pharma. Of course there would have to be laws stipulating that the tax can only be used on health care, we have seen what government does when they can raise SS tax pools and lottery pools that are “supposed to go to education”. You give those vote buying AHoles access to money and it just disappears. Also, as in Canada, you could buy your own supplementary insurance or pay out of pocket if you don’t want to wait a long time for that knee or hip replacement procedure. P.S. if someone is going to say Canadians income tax is not that high, well I’m talking Total tax paid not Income tax. We have a lot of retired Canadians in Florida during the winter and they all tell me, once you add all the various taxes the amount is over 45%.

For some reason, that scene from Breaking Bad comes to mind, when Walter White/Heisenberg confronts Declan and declares that he is “Classic Coke”.

Looks like Ramirez couldn’t conjure up a soda “brand” that would describe the “HUGE” ( or ‘heavy" ) tax cuts for the Rich in McConnell’s health care plan!

Ramirez is a Reich Winger. He has beautiful style and a wretched point-of-view. All nicely illustrated for us.
