Took me a moment to realize the splotches of color were actually shadows from the trees. However in the 3rd panel, AJ appears to be out in the open, and shouldn’t have any shadows in the last panel.
I grew up by the ocean, and still live close enough that when the wind is from the east I can still smell the sea from my house. Unfortunately the water is quite cold (Nova Scotia) so going in the water is not an option, at least now that I’m in my mid 40’s. Back when I was a kid it was “Damn the torpedoes”, and I’d be in the water until I was literally blue.
