Republicans aren’t serious about governing, they are however serious about having power. That’s why they enjoyed running against Obamacare. They knew they could misrepresent it as some sort of job killing, entitlement that would ruin the economy even as millions of jobs were being added after it was passed. Now that they have control they will either fail to repeal it or pass what many feel is the worst piece of legislation seen in Washington in decades. Trump was supposed to be some sort of new politician. In reality we are just getting the same old warmed over tax cuts for the wealthy, Wall Street over Main street policies that we always get when Republicans gain power.
Out of curiosity, can any conservatives tell me what one thing they like best about the Senate plan? Does anyone still believe this will result in lower premiums, lower deductibles & more coverage?
And they did this for the last 7 years while getting NOTHING else done. Just a do-nothing elephant shouting about how wrong it is for the poor and elderly to have healthcare. And when given the chance, they didn’t repeal it. Republicans have been telling us for years how ineffective government is, now that they have control, they prove it.
