Actually, while I have no problem outing myself as a former and even somewhat present counter-cultural-ish sort….
(always working too hard to have time to be an actual hippie)
I never could bear more than a light trace of that scent, and sometimes not even that.
BTW, I talked to our friend Dogsniff….
He wants me to thank those who put his name on their profiles….
He was touched.
I had hesitated about asking people to write the moderators, till I knew what he wanted.
He said he does appreciate all such efforts, though , but thinks they probably won’t let him come back this time.
The mods have said in the past that they pay no attention to forum comments or “Free Dogsniff” and such on avatars…that’s why I don’t do it.
But they DO pay attention to polite and reasonable messages from users…
If you want to ask for his reinstatement, it’s better to write to
moderator@gocomics.com
instead of using the “contact us” links on these pages, which sends your message to customer service, which only eventually forwards it to the mods.

Quick question, what did Dogsniff do to deserve banning?
They don’t tell anybody what the person did. I think I’ve heard it’s hard for the banned person to even find out what they did that was so “awful”, but I might be wrong.
