And a vote against the poor and minorities, a vote against healthcare and California. It was a slim margin for a hand-picked Republican seat win.

It was good news for both sides. For the Repubs, a win is a win. For the Dems, the point spread dwindled to 4% in a district that should have been an easy win for the other side. The trouble is, the Dems are running on “Look how badly the Repubs are burning you” but they offer just a lighter version of the same.

The Republicans want every slim win to be a mandate for them, while any win by the Democratic party must wait until the next election. If this vote was a referendum on Trump and his policies, he is not doing as well as Republicans are pretending, and that is how we lost the last election.

Handel doesn’t believe in a liveable wage for full time workers, which disproportionately affects women.

Handel wants to outlaw two women in a committed relationship from adopting a child.

Handel wants to cut womens’ access to family planning.

Just being a woman, doesn’t make Handel a champion for issues important to women. Just ask the Republican women in Georgia’s 6th who vote for Ossoff…
