I ate chitlins twice when I was a kid, until I found out what they were made of. Stopped eating scrapple for the same reason. I choose to remain ignorant of hot dogs and still enjoy them to this day.
The Amish market near us sells turkey scrapple, which is quite tasty. It always amuses me that folks who won’t touch scrapple will gladly eat hotdogs.
