Memorial Day is to honor, rightfully, those who lost their lives. Veterans Day is for those who survived, and many of them have had to live with what THEY have lost, for years. Support them, instead of screwing ’me over as the proposed Trump budget does by cutting their benefits, and even cutting some of the most disabled off completely. Disgust is too postitive an emotion to hold for Donnie Dumpster and his brood of betrayers.

    Freedom isn’t free. Right!

The invasion of Iraq cost only 4500 American soldier deaths, 32,000 other casualties, unknown deaths and casualties of American contractors, a couple hundred thousand Iraqi dead (yeah, I know, they don’t count).

But, hey, FREEDOM IS STILL ON THE MARCH!

    Isn’t it?

Your “freedom” has made a lot of folk rich.. at the expense of the tax payer.. and the blood of, for the most part the lower strata, of your society. Propaganda is not reserved for just third world countries..

Some people have trouble reading. Braindead did not say that Americans killed a couple of hundred thousand Iraqis with bombs. Most were killed in the violence generated by insurgents, not by US bombs and missiles. Latest estimates (which vary widely) are at least 173,000 Iraqis killed. And there would have been very few deaths without the US intervention in Iraq. So, ultimately those deaths are on the US, like it or not.

And there are very few perfect airstrikes in any war.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), found Isis killed 119 civilians in Syria in March 2017, including 19 children and 7 women, with Russian forces believed to have killed 224 civilians in the same month, including 51 children and 42 women.

The SNHR found the international coalition forces, led by the US, killed 260 civilians, including 70 children and 34 women.

And a few days ago, 105 civilians killed in Mosul, Iraq:

Freedom isn’t free. We had to sacrifice 500,000 Iraqi children to retain our freedoms. But it was worth it.

^Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price–we think the price is worth it.
