    I betcha Beethoven would have taken to New Orleans. As I remember music history class he was a man who liked a good party.

    My husband & I often speculate who from the past would NOT have made it on shows like “American Idol”. The likes of Janis Joplin and Dr. John or ZZ Top would NEVER have made it! They don’t have the right “look”…or sound, but that matter.

    The fates were cruel to Beethoven by robbing him of his hearing, but they also blessed him with a gift very few humans ever are granted—immortality. He belongs to the world.
