It seems like there has been minor crossover between the strips before. It could be interesting to see the characters interacting more. From what Darrin said earlier, the duplication in the strips is a temporary thing to introduce readers of only one strip to the characters in the other.
Rudy would not be the first to disappear attempting to infiltrate Russian spies/mobsters. Hope he’s okay. Maybe he said; “Screw working for the ‘really bad man,’ I’m moving to Vancouver.”
