    I’m not actually sure the GOP really have a spine yet. That will be determined by their actions next year. Traditionally they have not had a spine, so expecting different is a reach of faith. The hope is that some of the new blood will be zealous and driven enough to straighten out the rest.

    I wouldn’t look to either party for any vertebrae right now. The Dems are running away from some of their best ideas, distorted or damaged by Republican efforts they were too spineless to call out and fight. The Republicans are too spineless, well, even more at a loss in that topper called the cranium, to note they’ve been swarming like dung beetles around that warm pile of propaganda, for decades.
