Sure. By 21st century digital mores, right and wrong have no absolute value. Objective reality says they do. The depredations of any and all nations are a discredit to humanity. Using examples of other ‘wrongs’ to mitigate, excuse, or “to be fair” when addressing separate specific ‘wrongs’ is the weakest moral or legal stance one can take. Tell it to the judge—…well they did it too!!!

America is a democratic-republic. The People here rule themselves. We are the inspiration for well over 100 other nations’ aspirations to self-governance. There is some shame and much hypocrisy in the U.S.’s past and present behavior. None of that makes American ideals untrue or unworthy. We carry the torch.

As for the Russian government (in all its forms) and the social and political mores widely accepted by a plurality of their citizens, past and present, Russian ideals don’t inspire or translate into anything but submission to their permanent expansionist military dictatorship, and hoping for the best.

Germany isn’t fixing elections in other countries. Nor is Japan. Neither is the U.S., or anybody else we know of – except the Russians. The French people may see it in time…
