I love how kids don’t get that there was life before them. I myself lived in four different places that I know of, may have been a couple before my memory kicked in.
I don’t recall being that crushed to find out that there was life before I existed. But then, I was the fourth of five. And we made frequent visits to my grandmothers in the Baltimore area; so I knew there were generations before me, and other places that family members had lived aside from the house where I grew up.

I’ve lived in more places than I’ve owned cars. I lived in five states before I graduated high school.
