The “late” reference goes to his story, “Repent Harlequin, Said the Tick-Tock Man”. It’s in my Top 3 list for the best short story of all time. Seriously, you are missing out, big-time, if you haven’t read that story. It’s both funny and insightful into a culture that prizes being on-time above all else.
