Okay, this strip doesn’t make sense. (Not the first time of course.) The evil white man got the plaque and rowed away with it and then went to the trading post. The Swamp people never even saw the plaque until they killed the evil white man with a dart. How does Sherman know all of this if he was captured after he fell out of the boat? I doubt the Swamp People came to the prison cell and explained to him how they saw the plaque and want it for a fetish. I’m starting to look forward to the Sunday strip with the pretty but evil Queen.
