I wonder what they charged him for the parachute – assuming they let him have one.

Every time I think the air travel experience has hit rock bottom, they manage to go lower.

Airlines have overbooked flights for a long time, and this action by underlings out in the field is disgusting, but calling for the CEO to quit? How about Bannon, Spicer, Flynn, and all those personally selected and in constant contact with Trump, and no splash back for Trumpy to pull the plug? Oh, right, he doesn’t understand over-booking as he always gets any Tee time he wants. Who cares that his caddies are all as nuts as he is.

JLOCKE, obviously YOU have NOT read the fine print. All of the reasons that United can use to have someone not be on the plane refer to a passenger BEFORE they board. United broke their own rules, for a very stupid reason (should have had employees take a car) and then manhandled the man.

.It would be interesting to see how you would react in the same circumstances; usually those that denigrate others’ actions act “childish” themselves.

The DIDN’T overbook. They sold the correct number of seats. United just wanted four employees to DEADHEAD to Louisville in ADDITION to the paying customers. They COULD have used the jumpseats, but those are not as comfortable for a 30-minute flight . . .
