I wonder why Comey told the voters about an investigation that didn’t happen with Clinton while not mentioning the investigation that was happening with Trump? Now we expect him to do an honest investigation into Russian tampering in the election he tampered with? When Trump said he would drain the swamp, he didn’t mention he was going to fill it with this sewage.
Comey clearly needs to get rid of “President” Crazypants and his den of Russian snakes. As for whether that will exonerate him for his prior, horribly consequential prior misstep, no… but I don’t believe it was his intention to throw the election and his explanation made sense. At this point just thankful to know this is being investigated thoroughly.
Russians who might think they have a right to decisively influence our elections are annoying to the transnational corporations and assorted billionaires who really do.
It’s encouraging to see more commenters reaching the conclusion that the Russia connection is, even if 100% true, not the most important story, that being that the elections are manipulated by Americans. Without the American participation in the election wrecking ball, the Russians would have minimal impact.
In any case, I still assert that it’s the counting process that is most untrustworthy, designed to be easily hacked. Vote on paper, count by hand. It’s the only way to be sure.

First he needs to get rid of Trump and the Russians. Then he’s still got a lot to make up for.

Shouldn’t this be a picture of a barn with a big padlock on the door with a view of the tail end of a horse in the distance?
