Worst place was in OK, a Holiday Inn. It had security people roaming the premises and The outside door frame for my room was loose. I have no idea why or what did it. I did not wish to venture out. I ate at the motel restaurant and the cook was the waiter and probably the bottle washer. Needless to say it wasn’t a pleasant experience.
Must be that one we stayed at in Edmonton years ago on the recommendation of a friend. Lots of women in very short skirts should have been our first clue. The drunk guy pounding on our door and screaming “Sheila!!! I know you’re in there!!” at 2:00 a.m. was the second clue. We couldn’t check out fast enough when the office opened 4 hours later.
