What if every new administration just unraveled whatever the previous administration had done? The back-and-forth would be continual and nothing would be ever accomplished. So far Trump’s efforts have been merely reactive, and unimaginative. I can see why some historians think that nothing is really accomplished until a big war comes along and shakes things to the ground, then re-building takes place. I think that will be Trump’s main accomplishment, and he and his class will benefit. But tough luck for us peasants, plowed under as usual.
The EPA went Rogue a long time ago. They needed to be stopped along time ago. I’m sure all of you Eco-warriors never saw an EPA rule you didn’t like but consider being told by the EPA that you can’t drain a puddle on your land because it’s protected wetland.
Yes we need the EPA and we need environmental protections. But there also needs to be common sense and a rational cost benefit analysis performed before they are allowed to regulate everything to death.
The party of Lincoln, the man whose goal was to preserve the union, is in charge now and any day now, President Trump will stop seeking the admiration of the elderly minority of the voting population (that by their geographical location, and dreams of returning to the 50’s, helped his electoral win) and start working for the entire indivisible nation.
Instead of shredding the efforts of previous administrations, he will build open them and assure that he wins a second term by a popular acclaim …. or maybe he has other plans?
Just think, without the EPA more polluters will be making more money to buy more politicians, and the doctors treating respiratory and other environmental disorders will be richer, too. Win-win for the “republicans”.
the administration is running like a finely tuned wrecking ball. Creating nothing, but destroying everything it can. Is it great yet? Why is he throwing the United States into such chaos?
Mephistopheles, Fox News, The Washington Times, Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul have misrepresented (LIED) about Andy Johnson’s “pond”.
.“This description (as a pond) sounds as though Johnson simply dug a hole and added water. In fact, the Army Corps of Engineers and the EPA found that in order to create the pond, he constructed a dam on Six Mile Creek, a waterway deemed by the EPA to be a tributary of the Blacks Fork River, which in turn is a tributary of the Green River, which is a “navigable, interstate water of the United States.”
Building the dam constituted a “discharge of pollutants” into “waters of the United States,” according to the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers, and thus required a permit that Johnson did not have, or seek. As with the Lucas case, EPA officials say that Johnson received multiple warnings before any enforcement actions were taken."
There is talk of the 25th amendment being invoked, where the VP could take over. Pence is also scary. His policies are also frightening, though he doesn’t seem as unstable as trump. If the cabinet voted for it, pence could take over. Seems unlikely but everything about trump is weird.

That’s the ticket – remove and destroy anything that doesn’t fit your agenda. The purge has begun.
