No, this is not fun. If I wanted teen angst like this I would read Luann. We have had this story line since before Valentines day, over a month now. Can we please consider a new story line? As things are now, the title of this strip should be changed to “That’s not Wright”.

Mr. Peirce, I don’t mean to be critical, and appreciate your talents and hard work, but I know you have better stuff than this in you. As a suggestion on what we can spend the next month on, Nate gets a dog.

I find it interesting that Nate has no problem talking to Dee Dee, but can’t talk to Daisy. It’s not like he hasn’t already tried to chat up half the girls in his grade.

This is sort of like Charlie Brown and the little red-haired girl. Nate wants to know, but he has a 50/50 chance of getting the wrong answer.DeeDee is just is being DeeDee and she is answering honestly. I have always suspected she really wants Nate for herself.

This is EXACTLY what happened with Trudy. There is “suspense” for months after she met Nate and in the end, she’s only in a few short story lines and they break up. Unless this is going to be a serious addition to Nate’s life, I wouldn’t put in all this work for this repetition. I find it a waste of time and effort. Everyone is bored that Nate ALWAYS just breaks up in the end. And he didn’t even break up with Angie. She just vanished.It has been over a month with this story. I find that this story is simply going nowhere. If this is still for valentine’s day, IT’S BEEN A MONTH. This is way too long for a valentine’s day special. It should have lasted say two weeks. And it’s all going to be repeating previous story lines from the past.

Everyone is sick of this repetition. I kindly ask that we move on with the story line and find other ways to make this “humourous”.

Nate should just get to know Daisy but then where would the fun be in that?
