A teensy late (listed as new on 2/17/17); I guess the metaphor is that both Trump and the media have handed each other material they could use to good effect but they’d rather just hurl quick attacks on each other.
The Media isn’t throwing chocolates back. They are just showing footage of how Trump throws chocolates. This toon depicts the way the alt-right views media.
