There is strong evidence that alternating between pseudo-conservative and pseudo-liberal administrations does not work. A ranked proportional system would, if nothing else reduce animosity, and would probably work better that what we have now with so many dissatisfied people. Too bad that each party KNOWS that their ideology is the only one that can be used.
