105k miles? Only if you don’t like bent valves. Wife had a nice Eurovan with the 5 cylinder Audi motor. She bought it from the original owner with 150k miles and a stack of maintenance receipts. Religious oil and filter changes, tire rotations, belt changes, etc. Welllll it seems the corner mechanic didn’t know VW required the cheap plastic idler pulley be replaced along with the belt. I don’t think I have to tell you what happened about a month after she got it.
