Years ago, there actually was a downtown bar in Calgary called The Office. So that customers could phone their spouses and say “I’m going to be home late, I’m at The Office” with a straight face.
It usually took me a 6-pak an hour,just to forget the 8 hours spent at,THE OFFICE!,And it took 4 hours to forget THE OFFICE!!
The office is the reason to drink the beer, and affording the beer is the reason to go to the office. A symbiotic relationship.
