Mentally ill people often try to make those around them follow the same delusional path. It’s part of the illness and won’t go away. Get used to true mental illness and the public response to that mental illness driving the American gestalt, at least until trump leaves office. Few will admit the empower has no clothes, even though it’s obvious. This is not about politics. It is about sanity. I’m not a big fan of much of the conservative agenda, but I refuse to view trump as sane. No sane person behaves the way he does, and
Conway and Spicer are both very uptight, aren’t they? It’s unpleasant to watch. Eventually they will be baited at every turn and explode, or implode. The press won’t trust them anymore; and Trump, because he values blind loyalty will probably find other jobs for them.
I wonder how many of Trump’s followers will believe in him in two years. They have been able to ignore genuine facts because Trump told them to. They even are able to forget that he gave them information a short time ago that contradicts what he is telling them today. There has to be a limit to what a reasonably intelligent, although misguided mind is able to delude itself into, no matter how much they want to believe.
