Except of course he’s not ignoring it. He’s whining like the little beeyotch he is about how small his inauguration crowd was compared to the protesters.
Zero credibility WH is grimly amusing now, but some day the US is going to need to tell the truth about something important happening in the world, and all anybody will hear is echoes of “Wolf! Hugely wolf!”
Estimates of the marches range from 3.67 to 4.58 MILLION people in the US alone. For all the frantic attempts to dismiss and insult this amazing march, it is obvious that there is a strong feeling in this country that it is time to fight back against this Russian-backed sexist, racist, egomaniac who has stolen the White House from the people. And he realizes this enough that his toadies have to provide not just puffery but OBVIOUS lies about the sizes of the crowds. Views on the Internet – irrelevant. Obama had plenty, too.
My daughter and granddaughter protested in San Francisco, yesterday. I protested the Vietnam war nearly 50 years ago. Some things are worth going to the streets for. (Dump Trump!)
…provocateur James O’Keefe has been caught attempting to bribe protesters to riot at Trump’s inauguration. This time the sting was on him:
The counter-sting, carried out by The Undercurrent and Americans Take Action, a project of a previous target of provocateur James O’Keefe, managed to surreptitiously record elements of O’Keefe’s network offering huge sums of money to progressive activists if they would disrupt the ceremony and “put a stop to the inauguration” and the related proceedings to such a degree that donors to the clandestine effort would “turn on a TV and maybe not even see Trump.” To have riots blot out coverage of Trump, the donor offered “unlimited resources,” including to shut down bridges into D.C.
Since the ‘Bolton look-a-like’ knows how big Trump’s ‘virtual’ audience was … perhaps he can tell us just how many unemployed coal miners will soon be working again as coal miners!
@JMATTADAMS: Your hero didn’t ignore the demonstration. He went so far as to tweet a question about why all those people didn’t vote. He then followed it up by a tweet about how he (unlike you, apparently) acknowledges the right of people in a democracy to peacefully voice a protest. So, if the CNN headline you say you saw is correct (I don’t watch CNN, so wouldn’t know), then you and CNN have this in common: you are wrong.
Um, hate to point this out to you libbie freedom haters, but I think this stupid toon is talking about the inauguration, not the Soros run fake freedom protests that happened the next day. They would have never let in demonstrators through the inauguration checkpoints. Security was so tight that Soros’s underwear would have made his non-existent balls bulge bigger than his eyeballs!
NUKSHUK , you’ve got a prejudice about you. Maybe you can answer : If they’re out of work and on welfare, where did they get the money to travel to Washington and stay overnight so they could attend the inauguration ?
Of course, Trump’s followers have jobs that somehow let them travel from city to city to attend all his rallies—the same lot at each one, plus a few locals.

He counted MILLIONS were there to listen to his speech. Must be the same abacus he uses to compute his worth.

Mean spirited people elect mean spirited candidates. Crass people elect crass candidates.
