MLK and his followers may have been fighting for equal rights for blacks, but they kick started equal rights movements for women, gays, the differently abled, those with mental illness, and others. It is in part of their hard work and sacrifice that so many Americans are so much closer to enjoying true equality. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, “Never was so much owed by so many to so few.”
@CrowNobo You talking about John Lewis? The same guy who was walking around telling people that Bernie Sanders was some racists honkey despite his record on civil rights? I’d pick a fight with him too.
