I don’t always listen to 80’s hair metal, but when I do, so do the neighbours
I often listen to my music. My garage is my hidey-hole, with a decent stereo system out there and speakers built in (I built the garage myself and did all the wiring, so I wired it for sound). I’ll go out there on a Saturday afternoon and just putter about solely for the excuse to listen to music. I love my fiancee but he doesn’t have the same taste in music that I do, so I do my listening in the garage. If the siding isn’t rattling on the outside it’s not loud enough inside.
I’ve always said I love my music loud because I’m half deaf, and I’m half deaf because I love my music loud.
I used to have some neighbors who lived across the street. They liked to play their car stereo LOUD. You could hear them coming from a couple blocks away. The sad part was they did this with an infant in the car. The poor kid will probably be half deaf for life because of that loud, horrible “music” they played.
