The Americans that had the right stuff.. were those that had a vision and a goal. You are honoring the end result of a massive movement. Glenn was merely a token.. could have been any disposable person.

Too bad the stupid Democrats thought Bob Dole would be a winner instead of John Glenn. Who knows how different it would have been if Glenn had become president and trounced Reagan.
