Our constitution set up a separation between church and state. What we need now, in a more enforceable way than merely paying attention to “conflict of interest”, is a separation between corporations and state.
I’d be more disgusted with Trump voters if Obama hadn’t done some of the SAME DAMNED THING. Arne Duncan, Tom Vilsack, Timothy Geithner, Ken Salazar, Judd Gregg, Ray LaHood. Even Tom Wheeler, although he turned out surprisingly well. Nowhere near as horrible as Trump’s selections, but still pretty bad.
What I do not get, even if one is a climate change denier, is why would one defenestrate an agency that protects the environment? We have all benefited with tighter regulations as regards air & water pollutions…It’s for our own good. Why destroy an agency protetcting us? Bizarre.
