In the southern USA, we have Wolf spiders. Wolf spiders carry their egg sack underneath their abdomen. I don’t care how big and brave you are, you will squeal like a little girl when a thousand baby spiders run out from under your shoe or newspaper.
There are about 10,000 spiders/acre (even urban areas), so no worries about ‘population control’. And jumping spiders eat dust mites – let them stay at your house.
