Why is the sister on the left side drawn as she is, I wonder? In particular… why did the artist choose to draw the elongated “face,” on the left hand of our yellow-shirted front man? I see A LOT in this caption, I would LOVE to speak with Steve B., as I THINK we are on the same page, and would love to support the propagation of this particular paradigm, if only I could get some confirmation, first-hand, that I am seeing things as they are/were intended…
Kim– – I think it is relatively safe to say that lots of people are known for more than one thing in their lives. What you’re quibbling over is a point that is, well, rather pointless. You seem hung up over a cartoon that praises and remembers her within the larger context of what inarguably happens to have been the one thing in her career that she was best known for and, indeed, the one thing that the greater part of her appreciative fan base found most endearing about her—namely, her star role in the immensely popular “Brady Bunch” TV show. May I respectfully suggest that you get the hell over it.
On 10/25/14 she was a guest on NPR’s “Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me”, & she was a hoot! From her tale of her date with Barry to her explanation of what happened to Mrs. Brady’s 1st hubby, she packed a lot of entertainment into a few minutes. Always a class act. Thanks for the shining example Mrs. H.

Although she didn’t mind. She said that role made her the beneficiary of love from a lot of people.

…was it not the “face,” but just the long, blond/yellow hair that was being communicated?

Waiting for a new strip. While I have nothing against Florence Henderson, I don’t see much reason to have run this one.
