No lie! my employer has this exact program. It’s called PTOC—part time on call. No pay unless there’s something to do.
Sounds like Trump and his unpaid contractors. “You worked for me, that’s payment enough.”
Better than a 110% pay cut. (For those unaware that is an unpaid intern that has a hard time getting reimbursed for getting coffee.)
