Oh, no! Chipper just gave the baby a shot that was prepared for an adult! In Thursday’s strip Dr. Chipper told the nurse, “Oh, nurse! Please prepare a flu vaccine for Hoogy!” He had already gotten their names mixed up once and now it looks like he did it again. That baby is going to get monstrously sick!
It’s really odd, the only year I got the flu—and I was sick as a dog for a week—was the year I listened to nay-sayers and refused the shot. Never again, and I’ve not had the flue again.
I only get the flu when I DON’T get the flu shot, but I also know people that get the flu only WHEN they get the flu shot. You have to know your own body.
