I remember getting my first shot for Polio in grammar school when I was 8-10 years old. Nurse said it wouldn’t hurt and proceeded to break the needle off in my shoulder when it hit a bone. I’ve been wary ever since. Forget about blood draws after Chemo shrunk my veins. Takes 3-4 times to hit one and I go home with bruises all over my arm.
Elderberry has antiviral compounds. Sambucol is an over-the-counter syrup, but I prefer 4 ounces of elderberry wine as my daily flu shot.I got jabbed plenty when I donated blood, but the Red Cross won’t take me anymore due to skipped heartbeats.
