A 22 to 25% increase in premiums for the cheapest plans isn’t all that much, as for over a decade before the ACA my group policy premiums increased an average of 15% annually, and only 1% then 3% after! Quality insurance with good coverage isn’t cheap, but to the taxpayers, subsidizing the “poor” with insurance is far cheaper than paying the exhorbitant costs of going to the ER as opposed to a doctor’s office for non emergency treatement!
