    Those are all derived from the French, simply because in the Good Old Days the English were the serfs and the French invaders were upper crust. In those days, horses were too valuable to eat. (Sorry; history lesson is over.)

    and some ethnic’s won’t buy it unless it was raised as a billy, with nutz attached. you can tell by the smell; same smell as when a billy’s standing 1/4 mile away in the rain. way worse than wet dog smell

    It’s funny. My husband, usually a kindly and reasonable man, gives evidence of….grump and umbrage….when asked to phone in the pizza order. Don’t get it…

    I do love me some goat. They have a name for it here in Texas, but at 70, my mind fails me occasionally. I have been eating it BBQed since I was 15. I had a sandwich at a local bar a few months ago.
