Women pull the same sort of stunt. My wife’s old workplace had several female “Teds”, always trying to get her to go out to a bar for male strippers/dancers, telling her she needed to try a little variety, etc. Some even told her an affair would strengthen our marriage if I didn’t find out about it, that it would make her more attractive and feminine. That the excitement of possibly being caught would stimulate her. My wife was the down-home sort who went to work when the kids grew up just to have something to do, so she passed but she did tell me the stories her workmates told her. They were hilarious.
