The point being made is that Arlo is a clueless doofus, in other words he’s a man, while Janis is the totally awesome and perfect woman that he doesn’t deserve. How long until JJ has her divorce him and run off with some hot new guy that she totally deserves?

My wife does not like BBT because “it makes fun of nerds.” Sigh. She has many other redeeming qualities.

Maybe he doesn’t watch a lot of tv, besides football.

My husband only watches things like Hunting shows or the history channel. He just saw an episode of the Middle and thought it was new.

The bloom is definitely off the rose with BBT. Sometime this season it will ‘jump the shark.’

It either has to end, or they will have to move the setting to an assisted living venue. They’re looking pretty old. Makeup can no longer handle it. And it gets rather pathetic when people in their forties are still incompetent teenagers.

The 2 Walking Dead series, The Strain and now a Canadian series with the Earth ending as we know it with all kinds of things from meteorites to people disappearing to deadly diseases to even dragons! All on the same show.

People think dumping on BBT makes them seem cultured, but they really just come off sounding bitter.

On the Valentine show this year, reference was made by Penny about being 30ish. I don’t believe they were ever presented as teenagers since they all had PhD’s when the show started.

Not everybody has to know everything, especially what’s on entertainment TV. It’s perfectly OK to lack knowledge of “must see popular TV”! In fact, I’m guessing it would raise your I.Q. a few points!

I love TBBT. Sheldon is my youngest grandson to a T. We both laugh about it and it often quotes Sheldon when he’s at a loss for words. Love his puns.

Too bad they didn’t actually research there topic and instead just used whatever stereotypes instead.

I used to watch this show but got bored with his around Season 5. But that’s normal for me; I tend to bore of series that run too long.

I hate BBT ! I am insulted by it. I understand Sheldon because I think a bit of the same way – not as extreme or as smart – but I understand how he thinks.

I had an accounting client come to the house for his tax return. I said to my husband – I offer him coffee right? Husband said – did you buy milk? Milk? Then don’t offer him coffee.

Someone comes you offer them coffee. Someone is ill or a family member is ill or died – say you are sorry to hear.

Someone shows you photos – say how nice, how cute if pet or children.

If I have to write a delicate letter/email I have him read it before I send it. I try to remember what he told me about using smaller, more common words when writing or speaking to someone.

A friend who is in a club with me and can be honest with me who will point out when I presume everyone else in the group is getting an email from me that I left out something which I presume everyone knows, but they don’t (not for not being told, but for my thinking it is common knowledge).

I like Scorpion and Bones much better for dealing with the people nicer.
