Children who live in the Chinese village of Atule'er must use vine ladders to climb a 2624 foot tall peak to get to school! Matthias Buchinger, an 18th-century German artist, magician, marksman, calligrapher and dancer, was only 29 inches tall and born without hands or feet! Canadian artist Aganetha Dyck places broken trinkets in beehives, where bees fix them with beeswax and honeycomb!

We had to climb uphill before and after school and if you wanted to go to the bathroom you had to ford the river first. Lunch was birds we had to catch barehanded and we didn’t have wood for a fire.
