I usually will gargle with gin if I have a sore throat, but that wasn’t the problem this time. I had a stomach bug that I don’t think alcohol would’ve helped.

LOL Akenta! Any alcohol would work I would guess. If nothing else, you could get so wasted you forget you have a cold! :-D
